Jhanak: Jhanak’s entry in Rishi’s house triggers new tension.

Abhimanyu questions Rishi’s late return. Rishi isn’t able to answer him. The situation turns tense in the house. Jhanak asks Putul why she needs a new geometry box. She reminds them that they have to try to reduce expenses. Rishi’s family takes this the wrong way.

Neelu mocks the expensive box. Abhimanyu taunts Rishi for turning his life into a charity project. He tells that Rishi has hired a costly lawyer and also stood against the family in court. Putul defends Rishi. She tells them that they shouldn’t forget the fact, Anirudh tried to kill Jhanak. Tanushri reacts and asks her to stop it. She tells that there is no proof against Anirudh. Rishi tells them that the court will decide. Tanushri twists the story. She accuses Rishi of blindly supporting Jhanak and going against his own family. Rishi argues while defending Jhanak, who is a victim in this case.

Rishi says Anirudh is Jhanak and Aditi’s father. Tanushri gets angry. She blames Jhanak for influencing Rishi. Rishi apologizes and asks Jhanak to study. Neelu hinders Jhanak’s studies. She targets her and orders her to wash the utensils. Neelu humiliates Jhanak. Her statements and behavior are unfair. Rishi observes this. Neelu doesn’t stop. She insults Nutan. Jhanak finally warns her not to cross the limits. Neelu mocks her pain again. Tanushri temporarily allows Jhanak to study. Neelu continues calling Jhanak manipulative and dangerous for the family.

Jhanak remains silent. She chooses dignity over protest. She gets engaged in the household work. Rishi comes and asks Jhanak if she had the food. Jhanak is upset and refuses to eat. He insists her to eat something. He serves her the food. Neelu shoves her, causing her to fall. Rishi tries to hold Jhanak. Rishi also falls with her. Neelu watches them. Jhanak runs away crying.

Bablu is hurt by Anirudh’s actions. He decides to leave. Rishi brings food to Jhanak’s room, reminding her of Nutan’s care. Jhanak asks him why he is doing so much for her. She asks about Rishi’s place in her life. Rishi brings a small Christmas cake and surprises her. Jhanak suddenly collapses into Rishi’s arms. Tanushri sees them. She accuses Rishi of shamelessness. She also humiliates Jhanak. Rishi takes a firm stand for Jhanak.
