Jagriti: Suraj Fakes a Memory Loss

Jagriti has always trusted Suraj, and even this time, she tries hard to make him regain his memory. Suraj, on the other hand, fakes his memory revival and tells Jagriti that he remembers their past, the confession he made to her about his love, and their marriage. Though he tries to keep a distance from her, stating that he is not emotionally comfortable to spend quality time with her. She understands that he is having an emotional conflict because of the sudden shift in his memory, so she gives him ample time to get comfortable. But Suraj has something else on his mind. He actually plays this drama for Kalikant Thakur. He loves his father immensely, and he blindly believes Kalikant. He betrays Jagriti once again by fooling her about his memory revival. Meanwhile Akash informs Sapna that Suraj has regained his memory which upsets her.

He does not remember anything about Jagriti, their marriage, or their love relationship. He does not even remember Kalikant’s evil crimes. So he thinks Kalikant is a good person, and Jagriti is his enemy. With this misunderstanding on his mind, Suraj ends up stealing the evidence from police custody by winning Jagriti’s trust. Now, when Jagriti gets Kalikant arrested, Kalikant is very confident that nobody can harm him or put him behind bars. So, he says that he will go with the police, but he is certain that he will return home within a day. Kalikant gets arrested, and Jagriti schedules a court hearing for the next day.

Kalikant is presented in court, and the judge asks for the evidence against him. Jagriti is very happy to provide all the evidence that she has gathered against Kalikant Thakur. But when the evidence is passed in court, it turns out to be baseless. Kalikant gets released when there is no evidence against him. Later, Jagriti hunts down the person who has stolen the evidence, and it turns out to be Suraj Thakur. She becomes heartbroken and feels she has lost Suraj forever because he has not regained his memory and once again supports Kalikant Thakur by going against her. Jagriti feels deeply betrayed by Suraj, and this becomes one of the most tragic twists in the show.
