Sid’s father insists not to postpone the marriage

Ritika shows the saree to Roshni and tells her that she had ordered it on Raj’s behalf, to wear on pagphera, but now Raj is not there. Roshni says that they will all search for Raj. Roshni’s mother asks her to tell what she is hiding. Roshni says that she is already stressed due to Ritika’s marriage arrangements and has to search for Raj. She gets a call from the banquet hall asking her to make the payment. Roshni says that she will send the payment today. She talks to the cook about the menu. She gets the list written by Raj and gives it to the cook. Roshni’s mother asks her to reveal the truth. Roshni reveals that Raj left home because of her. He had come to her room, apologized, and asked for a second chance. She forgave him, but refused to give him a second chance. He sat outside her room all night and left. Roshni’s mother says that she has made a mistake and hopes that Raj is found.

Sid’s father comes home with him and tells Roshni that Sid is asking him to postpone the marriage, but if the marriage doesn’t happen on that day, then it will be cancelled. Roshni says that they are searching for Raj and want the marriage to happen on the same date as planned. Mayank requests him to give them some time. Sid’s father asks why they are so concerned for Raj, as he was not staying here. Roshni says that Raj is one of their family members, although they have had issues with him in the past. Ritika supports Roshni and refuses to marry Sid, saying that his father has no respect for his family.

Sid’s father says that his choice is to argue with him. Roshni and her mother make Ritika apologize to Sid’s father. Neighbors search for Raj. Kaki asks Roshni about Sid’s father. Roshni reveals what he said and tells that Sid is good and trying to balance between love and family. Sid tells Ritika that she is not an option for him and he will not step back. Ritika asks what he will do if her brother doesn’t return. Sid replies that they will have a simple marriage. Ritika refuses to marry him without Raj. Sid calls Raj selfish for having left home without worrying about her marriage. He cites that Raj doesn’t think about her, else he wouldn’t have left. Roshni thinks of her last moments with Raj, when she refused to give him a second chance. Karthik calls Roshni and asks her to come to the PS to identify someone. Roshni and Mayank go to the PS. Karthik shows him Raj’s clothes, wallet, and bag and tells him that he has found them with a beggar. Roshni gets emotional and recalls Raj hugging her before going for his IAS training.
