Roshni celebrates Sumitra’s birthday

Everyone prepares for Sumitra’s 2nd birthday. Roshni makes her ready for the birthday. Ritika reaches the jail and finds out that Raj was released an hour before. She calls Roshni and asks her if Raj has reached there? Roshni refuses. Ritika asks her to inform her if Raj reaches home. Roshni agrees. Ritika searches for Raj. Roshni recalls Ritika asking her if she could bring Raj home for Sumitra’s birthday. She is in a dilemma due to Roshni and Raj’s past relationship. Roshni clarifies to her that Raj is a random person to her, but she is a family member to her, not Raj, and it is her call to give a second chance to Raj. She says that a broken heart is dead and can’t be repaired. Ritika decides to give him a second chance as his sister. Roshni asks her to wear the dress given by Raj, which she had pressed. Ritika thanks her. Later, Raj arrives at Ranjan Nivas and recalls his betrayal. He recalls Roshni and Ritika’s words and Sumitra’s advice that Roshni is just one asking him to value her and never leave her. He sees Roshni, but asks the driver to take him from there. Roshni steps out to throw the garbage, but doesn’t see him. Ritika searches for him. Raj reaches the temple and confides in Pandit ji that he is repenting and wants to do penance. Pandit ji gives him Prasad. Ritika searches for him at the ghat. Roshni calls her. Ritika worries that Raj has left the city. Roshni asks her not to worry. Ritika asks her to seek Karthik’s help to locate Raj. finds Raj outside the temple. there. She urges him to come with her, but he refuses to come, citing that he is finding a place to hide. He apologizes to her for hurting her. Ritika says she is not hurt and asks him to come for Sumitra, as today is her birthday.

Roshni calls Ritika, worried, and tells her mother that she has been searching for Raj since morning. Her mother hopes that Raj never returns, as she is bitter about their separation. Roshni requests that she shall not get upset and spoil the day, as Raj is Ritika’s family. Roshni’s mother tells her that the neighbors want to leave, as they are getting late. The neighbors too insists to leave, but Roshni requests them to leave after the cake-cutting ceremony. Ritika brings Raj there. Raj and Roshni hold Sumitra’s hand as she cuts the cake. Raj tries to take Sumitra, but she gets scared. He adds that he couldn’t get a gift for her. Roshni adds that a gift is not important for a child, but a father’s presence is. He tries to talk to her, but Roshni sets the line and asks her not to cross the line. He tries to mend things with her, but she refuses.
