Mufti announces Mahid as the Next Mufti of the City

Kausar urges Seher to come with her, but Seher refuses, informing her about Dada Huzoor getting brain stroke when she had eloped. She adds that her dreams can’t become the reason for someone’s death. She informs how Mahid handled the situation and lied to Dada Huzoor that she had never eloped. She refuses to elope again, as Dada Huzoor is recovering, seeing her, and she can’t put him in danger. Kausar questions her about whether she accepted her marriage. Seher reasons that until they elope, and asks what would have happened if she had been sold to the Sheikh. Kausar regrets and apologizes to her. Seher determines to fulfill all her dreams in Mahid’s house. Kausar tries to make her understand that women achievement is a sin here; if a woman asks for her rights, then it is misbehavior, etc. Mahid searches for Seher, worrying that she might have eloped again. Kausar asks her to promise that she will never accept the marriage and adds that if something happens to her, then she will die. Seher is determined to fight all her life and will win, too. She tries to convince her to leave Parvez’s house and make her own identity to win over Parvez. Kausar adds that if she leaves Parvez, then Niyazi’s house door will be closed for her. They get emotional and hug each other. Seher thinks she has to stay here and make way for her dreams. Mahid recalls Husna’s words and gets worried.

Sultana tries to patch up with Dr. Farid by reliving the old cherished moments. Farid recalls Kausar’s words and eats the chaat served by her. Mahid sees Seher with Dada Huzoor. Dada Huzoor advises her to take everything in her control, else nobody will listen to her, as his experience says that if you don’t use power with time, then the power is not of any use. Mahid asks what they are talking about. Seher refuses to share with him. Dada Huzoor pulls Mahid’s legs and asks them to give the charity stuff. Amaal dislikes the top which Sultana had ordered. Dr. Farid asks her to see Sultana’s efforts and try the chaat. Sultana is relieved. Dr. Farid gets an Inspector’s call who asks for the medical report of the women who were rescued from human trafficking and asks about Kausar. Dr. Farid hopes that Kausar reaches where she wants to. He shares with Sultana that he is feeling guilty that if they had come here last night, then they would have been living the life that they dreamt of. He feels bad for Kausar. Amaal questions what happened to Kausar. Dr. Farid informs her about Kausar and Seher’s encounter with a human trafficking gang. Amaal blames Sultana for their misery, shocking Farid. Mahid and Seher give the grocery stuff in charity. Dada Huzoor makes a special announcement that he will be sharing the responsibility with the person who can fulfill it. He announces Mahid as the next Mufti of the City, as he is unable to handle it alone any longer. People cheer for Mahid and Dada Huzoor. Later, the people returned with the charity bags, complaining about the insects in them.
