Vidya takes a stand for Dheeraj

Dheeraj tells Narmada about Rajji’s sudden change. Rajji now behaves as his wife and wants sarees. Narmada asks what’s wrong if Rajji has accepted the marriage. She urges him to give Rajji a chance. Dheeraj says he cannot accept her behavior but must arrange 10,000 for sarees. Mahadev overhears and asks about the money. Dheeraj makes an excuse. He gives 50,000 Rs to Narmada and asks her to give it to Vidya for the locker. He will collect it in the evening. Rajji overhears and steals 10,000 Rs from Vidya’s locker. Vidya arrives, hears Dev’s call, and finds the locker key. She ignores it and leaves. Rajji escapes. Later, Mahadev returns home and asks for the money. Vidya asks her daughter to get it. The younger daughter gives Mahadev the money. He counts and finds only 40,000 Rs. Vidya checks her locker. Mahadev remembers Dheeraj asking for 10,000 Rs. Dheeraj admits he needs that amount but denies stealing. Mahadev asks Narmada if he mentioned needing money. Narmada admits Dheeraj wanted to buy sarees for Rajji, but says he cannot steal. Vidya supports Dheeraj, insisting he can’t steal. Mahadev reminds them of the old mill theft.

Vidya reveals Ketan had stolen the money for a gift for Narmada, and Dheeraj took the blame, as he wants family’s peace and not any fight. Rajji returns and lies that she found money on the terrace and kept it in the temple. Mahadev accuses Vidya of hiding things from him. He asks his elder son and Sattu if they knew of Ketan’s theft. Their silence confirms it. Mahadev blames Vidya for hiding things. Vidya argues she hid things to avoid his anger and keep the peace, being a mother and the house runner. She adds that if he is a father then she is a mother and knows how to keep her family united, and for that she hides few things from everyone. Mahadev asks others to tell the truth, but they stay silent. He asks Vidya if she knew about Ketan and Narmada, as he doubts that she had come to his Mill on their wedding day Vidya denies knowing anything about them before their marriage. She says everyone hides from Mahadev because he doesn’t trust anybody. Mahadev says she broke his trust and asks for all hidden truths. Everyone stays silent He pleads for the truth and feels sad. Later, Vishwa hires goons to kill Dheeraj during the Mahautsav fair.
