Seher Hone Ko Hai: Analysis

Safiya stops Parvez from opening the door and takes him to the room to rest. Meanwhile, Asad opens the door and lets Seher go out of the house to search for Kausar. He helps her sneak out of the house and locks the door. Seher searches for Kausar and reaches the dargah. She prays for Kausar’s safety and hides from seeing Mahid coming there. She gets inside the Dargah and continues to pray for her mother.

Dr Farid takes Kausar to his house and gives her first aid for her injuries. Kausar insists to go and save Seher. She hears the ladies talking about Peer Baba staying in the dargah for a night, and decides to meet him. Mahid is about to meet Peer Baba when he sees Seher. Seher gets afraid and cries seeing him. She asks him not to beat her. He gets hurt that she misunderstood him.

Kausar reveals the truth to Dr Farid. Mahid comes to meet Peer Baba. Just then, Seher also comes to him. Peer Baba sees them as a couple and predicts their happy future together. Mahid clarifies that they are not together. Peer Baba hints at their union. Mahid wonders why Seher is roaming outside in the night. He sees Parvez reaching there and goes.

Kausar runs out to reach her house, but Dr Farid stops her. Safiya provokes Parvez to punish Seher. Parvez punishes and warns Seher not to step out until she is married. Dr Farid takes Kausar to Amaal’s room. Kausar asks him not to disturb her sleep. Dr Farid motivates Kausar with his soothing words that Seher will study. Kausar gets thankful to him. Mahid wanders on the street thinking about his mother. He reaches Dr Farid’s house and goes to his clinic. Dr Farid questions him, what is the emergency. Amaal feels motherly love with Kausar, but soon realises that she is not her mother.

Mahid shares with Dr Farid that his would-be bride felt he would hit her. Dr Farid questions him about the matter. Mufti Saheb decides to give Mahid some time. Later, Mahid reaches Parvez’s house and invites them to the Madarsa kids’ picnic. He questions Parvez about Kausar. Parvez doesn’t know what to say. Seher waits for Parvez to reply.
