Jairaj assigns Mangal to spy on Adit

Jairaj asks Mangal to understand that they have to fight this battle together, and urges her to reveal what she is hiding. He questions whether the matter is personal or related to their mission. Mangal reveals to him that Adit Saxena is the criminal whom he is searching for, and adds that she never thought he would commit a crime, risking people’s lives and betraying the nation. She couldn’t believe that she shared her life’s 15 years, and couldn’t believe Adit’s truth. Jairaj says that he is not shocked as he has been dealing with such people for 15 years. Mangal refuses to get him punished, as Adit is the father of her children and her Amma’s son. Jairaj reminds her of Krishna’s advice to Arjun, that a warrior shall never back off from his duty, even if the war is with his family. He asks her to choose the right, as the difficult times test the person. He urges her to think about the country’s betterment, citing that if they don’t stop Adit, then many people might commit suicide. He adds that she shall make sacrifices to stop him, and asks her to win his trust and get the info. She reveals putting the tracker on his watch. Jairaj wants to trap all the nexus, and asks her to retrieve the tracker chip. He assigns her to spy on Adit, being his informer.

Later, Mangal comes to Adit’s room and removes the chip from his watch. Adit doubts her, asking what she is hiding, but she smartly hides the chip. Later, Adit talks to his ladylove and informs her that he will meet her. Mangal gives the chip to Jairaj and refuses to help him. Jairaj reminds her that he has chosen her from millions for this job. Mangal replies that she has informed him about Adit, and asks him to arrest him. Jairaj wants to catch all the nexus and Adit’s aide. He asks her to set aside her ego, and acts to fail to trap them and get them punished for their crimes. He motivates her to do something for the country. Adit meets Soumya and expresses his love for her. Soumya calls the last 5 years of their life the best of their lives. She asks if he got closer to Mangal. He refuses. She appreciates him for taking over Pehla Swaad from Mangal, so that they can run the fake currency racket smoothly. She asks him to be careful. Adit is sure that Mangal is illiterate and can’t figure out the truth. Later, Mangal calls Adit a traitor.
