Gautam reveals the truth, urges Mihir and Tulsi to unite

Gautam tells Nakul that he is his Dad and like every dad who feels guilty not to give their child higher education, a car, etc., as they didn’t have money, but a father has immense love, and couldn’t give them luxuries due to the lack of money, and the child doesn’t realize the father’s sacrifices, love, etc. He cites that if the father gives money, then the son will love his father, else don’t. Damini tries to clear his misunderstanding and says it is not the truth. Gautam adds that he couldn’t live his life without Nakul, but just spent it. He tears the cheque and refuses to give him money, citing that he had taken this money from the wrong person and would return it to the person (Noina). He promises to love him, though he couldn’t send him abroad for higher studies. He adds that he knows that he couldn’t understand him, but now he understands his dad. He leaves to stop Tulsi and Mihir’s divorce, while Nakul and Damini are sad.

Gautam calls Shobha, who informs him that they have come to court for a divorce hearing. He is about to tell her the truth, but the peon asks her to end the call. In the court, everyone is asked to switch off their phones. Gautam calls everyone and finds their phone off. He asks the driver to take him to the family court urgently. The Judge asks Mihir and Tulsi if they are sure that they want to separate. Tulsi says yes, and after hearing her, Mihir agrees. The Judge asks about Alimony. Tulsi refuses to take any alimony. The Judge agrees to grant them a divorce and asks them to sign the final statement. Tulsi signs the divorce papers. Mihir gets emotional. Noina urges him to sign. Mihir signs the divorce papers. Noina smiles happily. Gautam reaches there and finds out that Tulsi and Mihir got divorced and left. He breaks down and cries. He reaches home. Mihir questions him, why is he crying and scaring him? He hugs him and informs him that he is crying because they got divorced. Mihir replies that it was certain. Gautam asks him not to feel guilty and reveals that nothing had happened between Noina and him in that cottage. Mihir asks how did you know? Gautam says it is destiny and tells about going to the same college regarding a case. He tells him everything, how Noina bribed him to stay silent.

Mihir watches the video in which he falls asleep, and Noina sits. He reveals that Noina took the pendrive from him, but she was unaware that he had taken back up of the footage already. Mihir recalls Noina’s lies to trap him and breaks down, citing that Noina ruined his life. Gautam informs Mihir that he had come to court, but their divorce was already done. He blames himself for not informing them earlier and apologizes to them for not informing them and for misunderstanding them. He adds that he couldn’t separate from them, though they didn’t give him any share in property, and loves both Tulsi and him. He urges him to save his marriage and bring Tulsi back home. Tulsi is still at Angad’s house. Gautam calls her Maa. Tulsi gets emotional, assuming Mihir brought him. Gautam clarifies that he came to reveal something to her. Tulsi asks what happened? Gautam shows her the video proving Mihir’s innocence. He adds that nothing had happened that night, and both of them got punished for Mihir’s mistake, which he never committed. Mihir adds that nothing had happened between them. Gautam asks them to talk and goes out. Mihir is glad that Gautam brought out the truth due to his case, and tells Tulsi that today he couldn’t look in the eye and talk, else he would have felt guilty all these years. He cites that they have lost 6 years already, bends down and proposes Tulsi to return to Shantiniketan, to her home, to his life….He waits for Tulsi’s decision.
