Chandrika Stays Estranged; Vasudha Enters Chauhan House

There has been a long stretch of emotional drama in Zee TV’s Vasudha. Last week, viewers saw how Chandrika discarded Dev and Vasudha from the house. The constant tension within the family leads to Prabhat suffering a heart attack. He is immediately admitted to the hospital, where the doctors declare his condition to be critical. A shaken Chandrika rushes to the family priest and informs him about Prabhat’s health. The priest advises her to perform a difficult prayer for Prabhat’s long life and well-being. He also asks Chandrika to take the help of one of her daughters-in-law. However, Chandrika deliberately keeps Vasudha away and asks Divya to accompany her to the temple for the prayer.

Meanwhile, the media reaches the hospital after hearing about Prabhat’s heart attack. A hospital staff member leaks false information, claiming that Prabhat has passed away. This fake news spreads rapidly across the city and even reaches Divya. Panic-stricken, Divya leaves the prayer midway and rushes to the hospital to check if Prabhat is alive.

Chandrika continues the prayer alone, but the priest later informs her that the ritual is incomplete and will not be effective since Divya abandoned it halfway. Dev informs Vasudha about Divya’s mistake, and Vasudha immediately rushes to Chandrika’s side to help her complete the prayer. Together, Chandrika and Vasudha finish the ritual, after which Prabhat’s condition stabilises.
Prabhat undergoes heart surgery, and the doctors inform the family that the operation has been successful. They assure everyone that Prabhat will recover within a few days. Soon after, Prabhat returns home with his family. He firmly insists that Dev and Vasudha return home with him, but Chandrika remains cold and distant.

Despite Prabhat’s recovery, Chandrika’s heart stays closed off towards Dev and Vasudha. Prabhat decides to organise a grand grahpravesh for them. However, Chandrika openly declares that she will never accept Vasudha as her daughter-in-law. Vasudha calmly respects Chandrika’s decision and tells her that she will stay in the servant quarters until Chandrika herself calls her back into the house. Impressed by Vasudha’s understanding and maturity, Prabhat praises her and tells Chandrika that one day Vasudha will win her heart through her honesty and truth.
