Kyun Ki Saas: Dev and Saloni get engaged

After Noina persuades Dev to marry Saloni, showing the brighter side of the alliance, about the wealth and luxury. Baabji gives three months’ time to Mihir to return the debt, and clarifies that he is giving them time due to Tulsi. Saloni’s father suggests that they get the engagement done today and fix the marriage date after 3 months. Mihir replies that Hemant and Sahil are not here. Baab ji calls Hemant and invites them to Dev and Saloni’s engagement. Hemant asks Baabji to go ahead with the engagement as Mihir and Tulsi are there. Baabji likes the values that the Virani family shares.

Noina comes to Tulsi and asks her not to worry about the engagement, as they will refuse the engagement. She asks Tulsi to refuse the engagement today. Gayatri hears her and asks Tulsi not to do mistake of refusing the engagement, and says even Baabji can back off. Noina asks Gayatri not to interfere between them. Tulsi asks Gayatri to say. Gayatri asks Tulsi to let the engagement happen. Noina asks if Tulsi shall suffer. Gayatri replies that Tulsi is suffering because of her also. Noina adds that she doesn’t regard Tulsi as her sautan, and that she doesn’t want her to bear anymore because of them. She adds that they shall not push her to do this, as Mihir is moved on with her (Noina). Tulsi clarifies to Noina that if she had any sympathy with her, then she shouldn’t have done what she had done 6 years back, and asks her not to argue with elders. She clarifies that she will go after everything is fine. She asks her to wipe her sweat and goes. Gayatri regrets choosing Noina over Tulsi. She shares that she can never compete with Tulsi, as her thoughts are more modern than hers; she values her limits and is confident, and never gets scared of anything. She blames Noina for snatching others’ stuff. Noina gets irritated.

Noina approaches Dev and asks him to postpone the engagement because his parents are not present. Dev insists it does not matter to him. He appears surprised when Baabji sends him clothes and selects an outfit. Later, Tulsi initiates the engagement and presents shagun to Saloni. Saloni’s mother completes her part of the ritual and gives Dev shagun. Dev and Saloni exchange rings. Dev appears pleased by the diamond rings and daydreams about a locker full of money. They pose for photographs. Dev pretends to care little about the diamond ring or gold chain, claiming he only wants Saloni. Saloni feels fortunate to have him. Gayatri thanks Tulsi for her help. Tulsi explains she could participate as it was merely an act and encourages Gayatri to look after herself.

Pari asks Ranvijay to leave her if he has someone else in his life. Ranvijay threatens her and ends the call. Tulsi gives Garima’s doll. Pari takes it. Tulsi questions her if Ranvijay raises his hand to her.
