Bhanu demands Jyoti’s custody from Deepa

Bhanu learns that Shobha can’t become a mother. His mother gives him an idea to get Jyoti from Deepa. Bhagyashree asks Deepu to go and motivate Jyoti, as she is hesitating to read the poem. Jyoti calls Karthik from the teacher’s phone and asks him to come to her school. Karthik agrees to reach her school. Kanika gets upset and leaves midway. Deepa reaches school and sees Karthik with Jyoti. Jyoti shares that she is afraid that the kids will laugh at her if she fails to read the poem. Karthik tells her a story and motivates her to do her best. Deepa gets moved by Karthik’s gesture. Jyoti sees Deepa and reveals to her that all her fears ended with meeting Karthik. She takes part in the competition and reads aloud the poem. Karthik and Deepa feel proud. Deepa sees Bhanu and goes out. She asks why he came here? Bhanu replies that he came to free her, but she has to deal with him. He asks her to give his daughter to him, and he will free him. Deepa refuses to give Jyoti to him. Bhanu adds that he will take care of Jyoti, along with Shobha, and will not have Shobha and his baby. Deepa refuses to believe him. He gives her 24 hours before leaving.

Later karthik apologizes to Deepa for whatever he said and says Bhagyashree told him everything. Deepa apologizes to him for breaking his trust. He gets stubborn, asking her to forgive him, or else he will sit under the tree. Deepa urges him to get up. Karthik asks her if she has forgiven him. Deepa smiles. Jyoti comes there and informs Karthik that she has performed well due to Karthik and has been appreciated by all. She thanks Karthik for making her fearless. Deepa thinks of Bhanu’s words and decides not to get afraid of his threat.

Kanika is upset that Deepa has ruined her plan along with Jyoti. Chitralekha takes her to Bhagyashree and asks her to get Karthik and Kanika engaged. Bhagyashree agrees. Chitralekha asks Kanika to remind herself about her aim to marry Karthik and not give him a chance to refuse marriage. Karthik leaves his engagement and rushes to Jyoti as she meets with an accident.
